I've put in hundreds of hours on the Xbox360 and now on the PC. Last night my followers and I was attacked by 2 Gargoyles on the road between Broken Tower Redoubt and Rorikstead. I don't recalled ever being attacked by Gargoyles before.

Have anybody else experienced this?

I'm still waiting for my first Werewolf encounter.

Yes. Have been attacked by Gargoyles that appeared to be all alone without a vampire to direct them.

No but i have had the werewolves and yesterday a new first for me after many hundreds of hours game play and being everywhere and done that-a group of 10 or 11 Forsworn attacked me in the open in daylight as a group above RedEagle redoubt.

Sleep is for the weak. I am doing more traveling between mid-night and dawn after this discovery.

Traveling at night in this game is actually really entertaining... I've had a few odd or random things, or just see a bunch of different things.

^^^^ This. Even before Dawnstar was installed, I saw some fairly entertaining or out-of-place events at night. But, no, I haven't encountered Gargoyles yet. Just vampires and their dogs.
