Microsoft vs Google's e-mail service, which is best in your opinion?

If you didn't know, Microsoft recently came out with a new look if you check www.outlook.com and you can register names under @outlook.com @hotmail.com and @live.com.
But looking at the service provided, which do you think is best and why?

Just have to ask a question about Microsoft's e-mail service, hm. My old e-mail account and everything that was on it was deleted by Microsoft because it had a 60+ days inactivity. Gmail never did that but perhaps Microsoft has changed policy, if so, would you know where it says so?

I use both but I prefer google's due to the fact it's customizable and I really doesn't get spam mail. Also everyone I know uses it.

I use both and have no preference. I've had Hotmail for a lot longer, and I can find no flaws in it, so I don't know why I'd bother switching, it's really just a matter of convenience. Except that I use gchat often, which makes .gmail more attractive.
