Ok so I was planning to talk to one of the gamesas team about this in private, with a little depth, but after reconsidering the situation and various angles I decided it'd be best if I 'dumped' my thoughts here in a more basic form.

So here it is- A sequel/prequel/remake of Crime Killer, a game (developed by Pixelogic and published by gamesas for the PS1) that I quite liked, that is not mentioned anywhere on this forum or the main site.
Back in the day, I felt this game was great despite the 6/10 reviews it mostly got, as it brought something great to market that no one else really did- driving fast around city streets at 60fps, while chasing and shooting at the bad guys.
I managed to to buy a copy of the game recently and had a blast, although one flaw that soiled the nostalgia was the collision system- You bump into vehicles in traffic that are at least 1 meter away, but I guess I can excuse it.

I would very much like to see Crime Killer developed in some form by a studio and then published again by gamesas (I trust gamesas holds the licence?), but I think in today's market a less aggressive and more original title may be in order, perhaps 'Officer 88'.

I have some general design framework concepts that I would like to throw out there, but I think I'll wait for an gamesas team member's approval to do so, and pending gamesas actually holds the licence for CK still.
I'm not fishing for a job, I just want to push the idea of a CK remake, and if it happens, would like to offer some input to (I believe) help it be the best, related redux it can be, and not turn out as some churned out 'soft drink' game that lacks features and gameplay values.
One thing I will quickly say is that if such a game were to be developed, I think it would be great to again bring higher-than-expected frames per second to the table, somewhere at or above 100.
