I'm playing around with an idea for making a "fencer." The character would wield a single one-handed sword, no shield, and would rely on parrying (well, ok, weapon blocking) and maneuvering for defense. I haven't decided on armor type yet - probably no more than light, possibly just regular clothes if I can get away with it.

I'm not asking if it will be effective or gimp (I'll decide that for myself, thanks), but I was wondering if anyone had done this and could share a few tips and tricks, things to avoid, etc. Also, if I'm reading things right, it looks like the right side of the Blocking perk tree (plus Quick Reflexes) is useable with a one-handed weapon. Is that right?
