I posted this long ago, but no one gave me a straight forward answer, if someone could give me a step by step to fix the texture popping up in the game using an ATI graphics card, much appreciated.

My system is fairly high end, it plays the latest games at their highest settings flawlessly (hitman absolution, ac3, etc). my graphics card is 6970 2gb fyi.
