Many things in the official novels have been seen in the game; Thalmor, Titus Mede line, Solshteim, etc. One of the things seen in the Elder Scrolls novels was Hircine's Hunting Grounds and werebears who happened to be large Nordic men wielding spears. Curious, since spears are now added into the game where Nords are the focus. But then again, it is not entirely likely considering Lycanthropy was ever prevalent in the Companions questline . . .although one must wonder why they revisted the Dragonborn story with the upcoming DLC? Perhaps the idea of a Hunting Ground DLC is not too far-fetched when Kodlak mentioned a Harrowing of the Hunting Grounds, which is a great battle Kodlak sees as heroes of Sovngarde entering Hircine's Realm to do battle with Lycanthropes or save what they consider "lost brothers and sisters." This could open up a potentially new story and quests that could have the player either join the heroes of Sovngarde as Dragonborn or a regular Nord, or join Hircine and uphold the hunt's law and "wild nature".
Now, on the gamejam sizzle video we see a number of things added into the game via patches and DLC:
- Spears(Dragonborn DLC)
- Kill Cams for Magic
- Kill cams for ranged combat.
- Water currents in Dungeon(Dawnguard)
- Goblins(As RIeklings in Dragonborn DLC)
- Build your own house and adopt children(Hearthfire)
- Waygate travel(Dawnguard)
- New Mounts and Dragonmounts(Dawnguard's Arvak and Dragonborn's dragons)
- Mounted combat.
- Kinect shouts.
- Enhanced underwater visuals.
- Lycanthropy Perk Tree(Dawnguard)
- Vampire Lord(Dawnguard)
- New vampire feeding animation(Dawnguard).
For those who do not know, the Hunting Grounds has many different landmarks; tributaries and canyons, an africa-esque savannah and a large woodland forest with no underbrush. There is also a single moon and a crimson sun which could be beautiful to look at ingame. It is just a thought, but entirely possible that we actually go to his realm.
