Around the middle, at 9:57, he claims you can make the view first-person. (if I understood it right?).

Is this true?

Yep, you can play in 1st, though the game was designed for 3rd person and likely handles better.

i only use first person view to look closely at things (wich i do alot because i love the artwork of elderscrolls) BUT 90% of the Time i USE 3RD person only ... because i love to see my character and all the armor and wepons i have worked so hard to get! .. i love to see myself as an elf and the wonderfull things i have on my character on a constant basis.
therefore 3rd person is a demand for me in mmo's and all games i play
unless its Halo .. then i need 1st person 100%
