M'aiq has moved into Lakeview Manor with me! Here is how it happened: I returned home to find M'aiq wandering around my front yard and a Legendary Dragon attacked. M'aiq yells, " I want no part of this!" and runs into the house......and never leaves! He must like it here. He stands around in the entryway 24/7. I have since started calling him "M'aiq the Coward", haha. Not to his face, although I doubt he would do anything about it.
Has this happened to anyone else?

there is another thread about this somewhere. I hope he moves into my house when I can get hearthfire on the PC.

There's other instances of pathing issues around Lakeview manor, too. For example, your spouse will be bugged whenever they go outside unless you have the Armory wing, and followers won't follow you through that area if you have a Library or Kitchen wing built, preferring to run all the way around the other side of the house. This is probably just one more example of bad pathing at that location.

There was a thread over in General Discussion about M'aiq, and another where the Dragonborn ended up as roomies with Sanguine.

My luck the only one that'll move into my house is the crazy old "Wabbajack me!" woman. :ermm:

Update: After about a week (in game time) he followed me and Argis out the front door and then he fast-traveled with us to Whiterun stables. He then just hung around near there while I went hunting. I suppose he is ok now and should be able to makes his rounds on his own in Skyrim.

Fast-travelled with you?? Will other non-followers FT if engaged in conversation at the time? Hmmm ... time to experiment, I guess.

He fast travelled? You may have a problem....

I was really shocked when he fast-traveled with me, but that seems to be the only time. I use fast-travel a lot and he has not shown up anywhere else. It seems to be a one time thing. Ah, it was fun while it lasted!
