The Stronghold

I've been wanting to make one of these for while.

This is a place for us to express our love for our favorite race.
So, how do you play? Why do you love the Orsimer? Have any questions about the orcs?
Feel free to post your character's backstory. (Gotta meet our kin!)
I have several orc characters, but I'll post my main/favorite. =)

Name: Khadba gro-Burgesh.

Age: 39

Background
----------------------

FOURTH ERA

162:

Khadba is born to Burgesh and Tarla of Cyrodiil.

174:

Khadba's father joins a group of rebels dedicated to combating the Dominion during their occupation of the Imperial City.
Shortly after the groups conception they were rooted out and executed in front of the general populace, Khadba included.

Fearing the Thalmor would trace Burgesh back to Tarla and Khadba; she arranged for Khadba to escape the city with a band of Redguards.

175:

Khadba arrives in Hammerfell shortly before the battle with the Dominion; working as a laborer for anyone willing to hire him.

Later in the year:

Khadba, at the age of thirteen, joins the Hammerfell Resistance.
What was at first a means of survival, work was hard to find, would become the young orc's destiny.
The speed at which he learned to handle an axe impressed even the most hardened of Redguards.

176:

Over the course of the year Khadba began to grow a reputation as bloodthirsty and fearless in battle.

177:

Khadba had grown to be a callous weapon by this point, ruthless to his enemies.
Despite that, an old Redguard veteran saw past his rage and muscle; seeing a mind worth shaping.
It took quite awhile, but the old Redguard was finally able to get Khadba to lighten up a little.
Over the course of the next two years, she would teach Khadba to read and write.

178:

Having been introduced to some of the history of his people, he began to see battle as an art, respecting those who's might rivaled or surpassed his own.
Not only that, but he feared for the future of his people, were they destined to continued genocide?
Due, in no small part, to all of this his reputation would change from ruthless barbarian, to honorable warrior.

179:

The old Redguard would perish during an ambush by the Thalmor.
When Khadba heard of the news he mourned privately, but staye solomn infront of his fellow soldiers.

180:

The Thalmor withdrew as the Redguard prepared to seek their place in this new world.
Khadba, however, would not stay with them.
After saying his goodbyes to his survivng comrades, he set off on a journey to find his new place in the world.

This journey would lead him to Malacath.

181:

Khadba having made his way to the Imperial City was unable to find any trace of his mother, but he did not worry.
He was sure she died an honorable death, and it was hard, especially for Khadba, to care for a woman he'd hardly known.
In the city he heard word of a gathering of orcs in the west.
So, he packed his things and headed straight for it; only to find a shrine to Malacath, god of the Orsimer.

After his speaking with many of the Orsimer at the shrine he began to follow follow Malacath has his diety.
He also discovered a natural love for all of his kin, never had he felt so at ease than amongst the orcs.

182:

After spending much time with his new tribe he took up his proper name of gro-Burgesh.
Having learned all there was to know of the ways and history of his people he was prepared to head to Orsinium.
However, he needed to grow stronger, his new goal was to unite the orcs under his leadership.

To grow even stronger he would join the Legion; hoping to test his metal against the greatest foes Tamriel had to offer.

200:

After spending eighteen years in the Legion Khadba was ready; he left the Legion, leaving behind a good name as a strong and honorable warrior behind.
Before departing Skyrim for Orsinium he wished to visit the shrine to Malacath one last time.
When he arrived he recieved a vision from Malacath, telling him to unite the tribes of Skyrim, but did not tell him why.

He was eager for the task, but knew that simply because Malacath had chosen him did not mean he was prepared or capable of the task set infront of him.
That was trivial to Khadba, now he had a destiny, and he would die fulfilling it!

--------------------------------------------

This has been my character's intro to Skyrim; I'd never written it down before, but I think I got all the major details.
Now let me hear about his kin!
