So I've had the new Daggerfall artwork that was released for the FB group hitting some milestone as my wallpaper for a few days now. Has anyone noticed that the woman on the right has very pointy ears? There are no Mer in the Covenant (well, pure Mer. Bretons don't generally have such pointy ears and unnatural skin colouring, and Orsimer are obviously...shall we say, 'distinctive'), so this may possibly imply something interesting. Am I off the wall on this? She really looks very Altmerish to me, and I don't think they'd put random races in there, this 3 faction thing's been in place from the word go.

Alright, I found it. Is it http://i.imgur.com/NIK45h.jpg picture? Her skin is kinda greenish, definitely a different shade than the man's next to her, so I think she might be an Orc.

What the OP seems to forget is all the race's have been seen to live all across Tamriel, not just their home provinces. Take Skyrim for example, there are a number of Altmer npc's that are not members of the Thalmor and the AD.

The whole factions things is from a military stand point to take control of the Imperial City and the Imperial Throne. There will always be people who don't wish to take part in the war, who just wish to live out their lives in their homes, where ever those homes may be.
