Dunwall City Trials - 11th December 2012

Well, it's been announced - and at a cheap-as-chips price of £3.99 (UK pounds) or 400 MS points if you have them. Dunwall City Trials will be released on all platforms on 11th December. A little more has been announced about the second DLC too - the storyline taking Daud's perspective, but it's now confirmed there will be new powers AND a new locale (the third DLC is still under wraps).

Half of me badly, urgently wants City Trials because it will be something new to do - and I'm STILL addicted to this game as I close towards the end of my third replay so any excuse to play more is very welcome. The other half of me feels sad because this DLC potentially wrecks the whole story experience I took from the game: Dunwall becoming a mere sports arena with "Start" and "Finish" posts on the street. Not the same to me.

So I don't know if I'll get it. I suspect I might, but I hope it doesn't dent my Dunwall experience too much!

I personally probably won't be picking this one up. I certainly hope the story-based DLC packs realise Dishonored's full potential, but I think a challenge mode would be odd and out-of-place for a game such as Dishonored. That's my two pennies anyway.
