It's my plan to play Skyrim on the PS3, I hope to get it with my PS3 for Christmas. I did originally have Skyrim for PC but since my computer doesn't handle it very well (I experienced dreadful lag) I aim to play it on a console. Since I've loved Playstation like forever, it seems like the way to go.

But I've heard that there's lots of issues with the PS3 version of Skyrim. People keep saying it freezes, glitches and lag. And DLC not reaching the Playstation as soon as it should be (though I'm not too concerned with that as I just want the original Skyrim game for now)

It's been a year now since Skyrim has been released, so has all major issues for Skyrim (PS3) been resolved yet? If not, what problems do you encounter while you play it and is it tolerable?

I had a good read through the topics, helped me a lot. Are they gonna keep making patches to fix things and shall we be optimistic and think that all issues for PS3's will be fixed in the end??
