The devs really need to release more information or more videos. The fact that they are being so hush hush is kinda killing my excitement.

We literally have nothing left to talk about. The recent ask me anything was relatively weak and we've only had the one video with very limited gameplay. I don't know when they are planning to release the game, but if it isn't for another year or so, they shouldn't have announced it so soon. It seems like they have done enough work on the game to release more information than they have.

It's a major buzz kill.

i agree ... but what can we do when the "skooma/ flin/ sujama/ candy man Dealer" decides that they just wanted to tease us? we need more videos and more info and some release dates for the betta .. thats not alot to ask! and how about opening up the Elderscrolls Online forums .. im sure that would be hard to do that.

Well the game could be over a year away for all we know, i would rather get slow solid info than info for the sake of info. I play other games as well so it's not like their is nothing else to do.

Hopefully we will get a nice update of info for Xmas.

Going by all the rants we get on here i don't think that would be a good idea at the moment.

They will release stuff when they have something to release lol. There was a long silence right after they annouced it, then they got alot of press when they had that press field day trip to Zen HQ. Other than that they just answered a second round of player questions yesterday. I'm sure it will pick up after the new year. Beta will be I'm gonna guess around spring time possibly. They will probably go the GW2 route, on prepurchase gaining access to beta then string out beta weekends for a few months until fall when they will most likley launch

But until then, we are just getting crumbs as they hit the ground, drooling over the pie on the table up high enough to just see and smell it but out of our reach.

That's the only excuse I can think of. That the game will be released really late in the year.

If that's the case though, they announced the game wayyyyy too early. I might just have to take a break from this forum if that gets confirmed.

Yeah this is how it works for a pre-launch MMO. You generally don't get a real steady stream of info until close to launch. I would disagree that we "need" more info, all we really need is patience while they make their game.

I don't think the year before release is to early comparing to some MMOs, SWTOR was 2-3 years and GW2. I'm playing the secret world and Vanguard at the moment so it's not like these forums are the only thing to do right now.

I don't know if you play MMOs but their our some ok games out their and most are F2P now.

I can sympathise, but it could be a lot worse. Look at TOR. That was announced back in 2008, more than 3 years before release. There was even an official website for it. We did have a dry spell, but I think we can count on new info at least monthly from now on.
