So, I decided that I can't stand listening to my steward anymore. It made my visit to Lakeview rather unpleasant. How do you fire your steward without killing him/her yourself?

I made her my follower and set the UFO mod to "Everybody Dies..." option. We started fast traveling to several locations known for wild-spawned vampires attack. After a few locations, I arrived at Darkwater Crossing and waited. Sure enough, after about 20 seconds, 1 Volkihar and 2 vampires show up. I helped the guards and Uthgerd handled the 2 vampires, but then I stepped back and let them deal with the Volkihar. That was one badass lady vampire (I was at Level 50). Not only she killed two guards, she actually decapitated Uthgerd! I figured Uthgerd would get killed by the vampire, but not in such a gruesome fashion. I will be haunted by the image of her head laying on the ground for quite some time.

I haven't hire a steward for any of my homestead since and probably never will.
