» Thu Nov 29, 2012 7:49 am I have downloaded the 1.8 updaye but no help there. I have Dawnguard and the homebuild DLC which was nice but the Theives guild skeleton would be nicer. I have also been informed that my best bet is to make a new character and start the game over or just forget it.I am at level 72 and just need a few more acheivements to be able to just about finish this game, untill the new DLC comes out. I will not be able to finish the theives guild quest line since the glitch/bug is imbedded into my saves and cannot be removed or fixed by an update. I say there has got to be a way to get to him, with all the texture and little tricks that I have found like the bowl trick at the Thalmor embassy to get you into the backyard and house by placing the bowl on the wall and then doing a whirlwind sprint..that was brillant but its not working on the Solitude walls around the east trading company..I have tried the detect life shout and even strom call to just kill Gulum so that I can finish this quest.I have slept in the Winking Skeever, restarted the quest, dressed in the theives guild armor and spoked to everyone in the guild in order to restart/renew the quest line..
PLEASE is there a tip or trick that I have not tried yet, is there anyone else trying everything hoping for someone to find this guy..I do not understand why you can console command on a PC and Xbox will not let you use a cheat somehow to just finish the quest..What about the next update having a skip quest insert put into the Quest info box..
