What I have is a simple premise, one that might intrigue both your audience and your writers. The story of a young female assassin roughly ten years after the events of Dishonored. The story of Emily Kaldwin and a bump in her rule whether it be Emily the Wise or the Cruel. Regardless of the ending, when Emily survives, she rules. Imagine a new game where the player starts playing as an initially unnamed young girl (Actually Emily) who is chased down and brutally injured allowing an usurper takes her throne. The injury leaves her with temporary memory loss, but also makes the outsider take note of her. Left to die in the gutter, a mysterious masked older man(Corvo?)finds her he helps her recover, giving her a name and healing her over several months before teaching her the ways of an assassin (at her request). After her recovery he gives her his old mask and reluctantly lets her have a shot at revenge at her attackers and the cruel new empress sullying her now forgotten name. So it begins... Outcomes of the first game could either carry over or be ignored as her choices in this game would essentially re-decide if she becomes Emily the wise or Emily the cruel. It could be a lot of fun. Playing this Assassin in some strange new city, not knowing that she is actually empress til she regains her memory. Just knowing that she was left for dead by certain people. Corvo could drop hints about how the(usurper) Empress changed 6 months ago and all her policies were crueler etc. The darker ending could end up resulting in his tragic demise on her climb for revenge and power, while the lighter ending could culminate the restoration of her rule with him at her side. Furthermore, with stuff like the Fugue Feast, and the other cities in the lore, there is plenty of places to go and things to see. Hope you like the idea! Whether you use my idea to fuel your own, or just simply humor me by reading it, I appreciate your hard work. Thanks for making a great game! Good luck on your future endeavors.
