Add the option to turn off language and suggestive themes in

Post » Fri Nov 30, 2012 12:19 pm

I see Bethesda Studios has also developed the game Dishonored. Which I would like to play but due to my family’s beliefs, I’m not allowed to play the game because of the suggestive themes (ST) and strong language (SL). If they added the option to turn off that stuff then perhaps you could have more business because instead of the people that like the ST and SL, the other people that don’t like it, can just buy the game and turn it off resulting in almost a 100% increase in sales of the game doubling the profit and increasing the wages of the employees. I look forward to future games.

Please reply with feedback.

Maybe if we get enough they can add the option

Not Bethesda. Arkane Studios. Also not sure if trolling.

I wouldn't hold your breath, considering that means more or less getting rid of a whole level.

Sorry.

I'm not sure I see it increasing sales 100%, but hey, that's just me.

Huh? Very few people are turned off by language and suggestive themes. Most probably there wouldn't be any noticable difference in sales.

What I don't understand, however, is why you can't play games with strong language, but don't see a problem with assassinating people.

An option to tone down the language and suggestive themes doesn't change the game from being rated M. So they'd have to advertise and that kind of thing would probably hurt sales as people who enjoy the strong language and suggestive themes.(ie most everyone.) Would actually be turned off by it. So it wouldn't increase sales.

What I don't understand, however, is why you can't play games with strong language, but don't see a problem with assassinating people.

Its an odd American thing we and by we I mean other Americans can be quite squimish about six and language but not so bothered by violance.
