At the time I was trying to go for just 717 damage on a bow as that damage will kill any master difficulty enemy. But while I was trying this the damage just got insane and kinda out of control.

That's some serious fortify restoration looping.

Here are my stats for my Nord. I have 100 alchemy and enchanting and use gear fortified with smithing and alchemy to make the maxed potions and improvement through smithing without going into exploits. I have self control. The game for me on Master is nice and challenging.

Necklace - Increase Magicka Resistance 29% / Increase Stamina by 74
Ring - Increase Magicka Resistance 29% / Increase Stamina by 74

Studded Armor - Increase Health 74 / Increase Stamina 74
Iron Boots - One Handed attacks do 48% more damage / Increase Stamina 74
Iron Gauntlets - Sneaking is 48% better / Block 48% More Damage
Iron Helmet - Bows do 48 more damage / Can breathe underwater
Banded Iron Shield - Increase health by 74 / Block 48% more damage

My armor rating is 393

I use for weapons:

Hunting Bow - 250 dmg or 258 with iron arrows
Steel Dagger - 164 dmg
Skyforge Steel Sword - 268 dmg

All enchanted with soul steal and absorb stamina.

My archery and one handed are at 82 and 81.

I calculate that at one handed at 100 and archery to 100 my weapons will do:

Bow - 269 dmg or 276 with iron arrows
dagger - 182 dmg
Sword - 286 dmg

All in all, I think it's very balanced for master playthrough. If I don't play defense all high end enemies will have their way with me since I'm way under the armor cap at 393. The damage, I think, isn't too OP. Legendary Dragons still have me drinking my health potions as I only have 73% magic resistance.

The build is to play only as the inconic dragonborn. If I put anything above Dwarven or Elven armor/weapons the stats get too OP for my tastes. But with base armor/weapons it's fine. I figure I'm doing damage that someone without synergy with smithing and alchemy/potions would do with Daedric, Glass, or Dragonbone weapons.

Gone for the classic Nord theme Armor set too. I like that a lot. That's a good legal setup you have. Oh and yeah some serious restoration looping lol. It was an accident to begin with. But then just thought what the heck might aswell keep it now. I have tons of Armor sets like this and more powerful ones too. The e+014 is the damage X14 lol

You know, I started out with three 48% more damage enchantments for both bow and sword until I realized that as my one-handed and archery got better and better and I was perking the trees that I needed to nerf myself. I found balance at just one fortification of 48% damage to bow and sword. As such, I actually have to take back what I said about Ranger and Assasin's blade in my previous topic about useless perks. Since I toned the enchantments down my dagger does undisputed damage with assassin's blade.

Ranger allows me to get my sneak shots in on high level enemies.

By the way.

I used the fortify restoration loop to make a pair of gauntlets do 200 additional damage for unarmed combat for the lulz. I love seeing my dragonborn suplexing people. It's hilarious.

Think I will have to try this out, I have items that improve smithing items by insane % so I should be lmao for a while.

i really think unarmed combat is the only thing you HAVE to abuse the fortify restoration loop to make for a viable play through with. Otherwise you're just frustrating yourself.

I while ago now, I tried to do it with a level 40 imperial I have and it didn't work. I don't know weather you could unpatch the game. Do the loop then repatch. I haven't tried this and I DO NOT know what will happen.

When did 1.8 get released?
