Return of Malborn.

title/
I found Malborn in Windhelm earlier, and he was talking about a Thalmor Spy.
So I killed him and told Malborn, and he talked about going to Morrowind, so Im thinking, Im gonna go close to there too!
Does this mean we will see Malborn again?

He's going to Morrowind...Not Solstheim.

Solstheim can be considered part of Morrowind in the 4th Era, so Beth could pull it.

...Wouldn't it then be running rampant with Argonians in this era?
I thought it was given to the dunmer refuge's after the lizards ran them off. It doesn't belong to any one country now, and just exists as a haven for the displaced Dunmer.

Would be interesting, though I think Malbourn is going to catch onto our stalking of him.

That's not exactly the story, no. Morrowind is not controlled by Argonians. What was left after the Red Year (mainly the south) was ravaged by the lizards, then they pulled out without holding the territory.
Solstheim was given to the Dunmer shortly after. For some time it may have been the most important part of Morrowind, because it was spared by the Argonians and the Red Year didn't affect it as worse as Vvardenfell and some mainland areas along the Inner Sea.

I recall reading somewhere that the Argonians didn't claim portions of southern Morrowind, though I could be mistaken.

But in all due respect, it's just on lone for the refuge effort until such time as the Dunmer can resettle.

Where did you get that?
Nah, it was given to the Dunmer without time restriction. The Skyrim Nords did it.... even though they hadn't really the right to do so, because it belonged to nobody in the 3th Era.... except the Skaal maybe, who lived there since the defeat of the Falmer.

Let it stand in honor of those who had the strength and spirit to accept Skyrim's Offer "untithed to any thane or http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Hold, and self-governed, with free worship, with no compensation to Skyrim or the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Empire except as writ in the Armistice of old wheresoever those might still apply, and henceforth let no Man or http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mer say that the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Nord are without mercy or honor."

Probably Torygg, but at the same time...They're Nords...
Get enough alcohol in those boulder heads, and sooner or later one will start grumbling about how dem Dunmer took land that's rightfully Nordic, perversing it with...Dunmer stuff...And that can just spiral all over the place and...
Oh what am I worried about? Ulfric lost in my case.
