first of all , not random troll , i was looking for the whole "secret dwemer" questline thing and i stumbled across this link -

anyway , i looked on the UESP and it didnt come up , also i have never heard of the quest - is it genuine or just a hoax?

from the looks of it , you basically hear some short of chant from the tree in the arch-mages study ( only after becoming arch mage) and after that you have to quickly visit lots of other trees ( like sleeping sap tree , gildergreen) and at the end all of the ingredients at the collage grow within 24-hours and have increased potency ?

It's a hoax.

Someone would have legitimately discovered it by now, either through the CK or it would have been in one of the many guides and would have been added to the wikis long ago.

And would they really have added a quest that can only be done by people with certain hardware?


edit: Plus what on earth would visiting all the trees have to do with the Dwemer? I fail to see the connection there.

because their is currently a huge rumour going round that their is a super-secret dwemer quest only 2 people have found ? and this is also a secret quest ?

both are secret hidden quests , that is the connection.

Except as pointed out. It would have been found in the CK files. Everyone would know about it.

There are mods out there that add quests to the game. Perhaps these events are part of some mod.

In any event, they are not part of the stock game, so I will close this.
