http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/22cans/project-godus is a reinvention of the god game genre from 22cans and Peter Molyneux, who created the genre. The project is essentially Populous, a 22 year old game, redone and rethought

You are a god, you have followers who build a town and whom you can influence with your god powers. See your followers multiply, build, evolve and wage wars between other civilizations controlled by other gods.
Multiplayer included.


Peter and his team need your help to fund this game and to influence the design choices they make to the game through comments on http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/22cans/project-godus or even emails. They will keep us updated and ask us whether or not things are to change or add, they update almost everyday !
