When ever I start a new character to role play with I can never find a good reason that my character went to skyrim in the first place. Also what are some reasons your guys character went to skyrim?

Here is an example of my background...
Name: Igma Wind-Shifter

Race: Nord

Age: Early Twenties

Igma Wind-Shifter was born on the family farm, which was known as Wind-Shifter Farm, from the retired adventurer, Tobias Wind-Shifter, her father, and a very experienced miner, Anja Wind-Shifter, her mother. When the Great War started, Tobias readily came out of retirement and went off to fight in the Legion. Molgrom, Igma's brother, left the farm shortly after Tobias left to join the Bards' College. While on his way to the Bards' College, he was attacked and murdered by a drunken group of Legionnaires. After the news came bearing to the farm, Anja felt very sad, and went into her bedroom, grabbing a iron dagger, and killed herself to join Molgrom in Sovngarde. Sonje Wind-Shifter, Igma's sister, stayed and took care of little Igma, like it was her very own daughter. Although running a farm was very tough, Sonje managed it very well.

After the Great War was nearing an end, a group of Thalmor scouts go running to the farm, screaming "Burn this farm down!" The scouts all equip a fireball spell, and start burning the farm. Sonje and Igma evacuated, using the crude escape entrance that Sonje made. After getting out of the escape entrance, they both watched the farm burn down. Sonje looked down at Igma, and smiled. She hugged Igma so tight, and said "I love you sister, I will always be here for you." Sonje pulls out a Iron mace, and charges at the scouts, killing them. She gets badly wounded, and falls to the ground. "Sovngarde claim me... Talos, watch over..." Sonje coughs up blood, and passes on. Igma, only 24, looked at her sister. "Sonje..." Igma tears up, and wipes them off her face. She gets up and walks over to the body of her sister. She picks up a Iron mace, and looks at it. "Sister, I'll make you proud... The Thalmor will be all dead..." Igma walks to the ruined farm, and searches for anything she can scavenge. "There must be something around here that I can have..." She said to herself. She looks at a bookshelf, and finds a portrait of the whole family. She smiles, and puts it in her knapsack. She collects any food that she could find that was unharmed. She heads off to Darkwater Crossing, only to be ambushed by a group of Legionnaires, thinking that young Igma was a Stormcloak Soldier. Igma fainted, and later woke up in a cart, along with Ralof, Lokir, and Ulfric Stormcloak.

Grey Mane, I notice that in alot of your avatars you have your character doing poses (NPC's maybe?) But your sig says you play on Xbox, how do you do that?
