I've been having problems since Day One with random crashes and am running the .04 version of Skyrim. For some reason, Steam is not making the .07 version available to me. Please advise. Thanks.

Do you have automatic updates enabled in Steam? Right click on Skyrim in your library, select Properties, then click the Updates tab. Make sure the Automatic Updates selection box says "Always keep this game up to date." You may have to restart Steam if you have to change this.

While you're in there, verify the files.
