Monarchs more badass than Antronachs

Post » Sun Dec 02, 2012 4:37 am

was reading up on ice blade of the monarch and got to thinking, if Solstheim be north of Skyrim it'd be colder sounds like an awesome place for introducing ice or frost monarchs, and with dunmer being fire friendly they could have fire monarchs, and lastly if there are telvani they could have storm monarchs.... what do you guys think?

for beth they're just a higher level antronach, think of the caste system of the dremora, like this for free roamers, they might even have personalities and could talk?

A quick search resulted in just no information on what a frost monarch is or if we could even obtain a spell to summon one. In fact that only place where a frost monarch is even mentioned is during that quest break down on UESPwiki, other than that nothing is mentioned that I have found so far.

If such a spell exists to summon more powerful fire, frost and storm atronachs then I am a fan.

So is this a suggestion for an enemy?
And for your information, Solstheim is North-east of Skyrim...
A Monarch is a rank of rulership...
An Atronach is an Atronach...
The Ice Blade of the Monarch just means Ice Blade of the King/Queen.

Don't remember any elemental magic "monarchs" ever existing. Side note: I miss the old atronachs of Morrowind. They were weirder and more.. human.

look up the ice blade of the monarch, it explains it, and i was using north as the generic north is colder, so im basing this on what the book tamrielic lore or that artifact weapons book from OB said...

sorry. hopefully it works this time.

nevermind. i'll just copy and paste.

The Ice Blade of the Monarch is truly one of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tamriel_(continent)'s most prized artifacts. Legend has it that the Evil Archmage Almion Celmo enchanted the claymore of a great warrior with the soul of a Frost Monarch, a stronger form of the more common Frost Atronach. The warrior, Thurgnarr Assi, was to play a part in the assassination of a great king in a far off land, and become the new leader. The assassination failed and the Archmage was imprisoned. The Ice Blade freezes all who feel its blade. The Blade circulates from owner to owner, never settling in one place for long.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Yagrum_Bagarn, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Tamrielic_Lore
The Ice Blade of the Monarch is carried by http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Llaren_Terano, who can be found in the arena of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Rotheran, a stronghold south of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Dagon_Fel on the island of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Sheogorad. This weapon is needed for the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ice_Blade_of_the_Monarch_(quest) of the same name.

Well, if anything that is indeed the one and only reference to a Monarch I have ever seen.

We have had the next rank of frost atronach in DG in the form of Ancient Frost Atronach. The brother of what looks to be the guy in your avatar summoned them.

Well yes but we can't obtain that spell... we just have frost thralls but that is just a spell that summons them permanently.

Well the point of "enemies" is for them to be a hostile force to oppose you...Not first divulge their individual backstory, and then commence fisticuffs.
