Does Augmented FlamesFrost affect FireFrost Breath?

I got to thinking if Augmented Flames/Frost would affect the Fire/Frost Breath Dragon Shouts.

I looked each shout up and they were listed as the fire damage and frost damage effects. So wouldn't the augmented perks boost their damage?

I don't think that they do.
