Walking into the Reach near Sunguard Tower I ran into a group of Imperial Soldiers fighting three Foresworn. So I ran in and helped kill the Foresworn. As I was about to leave, one of the Imperial soldiers turns to me and says "This is none of your concern. Move along citizen." Well I got rather angry considering I had just saved their butts. So I decided I would let them go agro and then kill them. As I am standing there waiting for them to turn hostile, however, one of the Legionaires says to me "The Legion is always looking for strong, capable warriors. If you think you've got what it takes, our headquarters is in Solitude." Then a few seconds later he pulls out a sword and attacks me.

Not exactly the best way to gain new recruits.

I think perhaps the legion should go back to emphasizing money for college, travel, and skill training as their primary recruiting tool rather than attempted murder.
