theres no real reason to put a lot out about it
we need to know what its generally about: the trailer gave us that
we need to get a feel for new things like weaps, spells, new looks for new areas: the trailer gave us that
we need a release date:beth gave us that
it not like this is a whole new game with different mechanics and controls
theres no need for much info
plus, why spoil it?
just play the dlc and find out yourselves
plus they probably learned their lesson from dg
give this fanbase the smallest bits of info about a good portion of the dlcs features, and insane speculation insues
leading to disappointment in the end
at least this way beth can say 'anything you thought up is on you. we didnt fuel any (well most) of it'
Well I disagree with your assertions. While we know the location, potential main enemy (plot twist maybe???), and a few tidbits we can gleam from the trailer that is about it. I can't say what the story is about just that it in some way involves the first Dragonborn. The main question could be entirely centered around the first DB or it could simply involve him and you in a larger plot.
Aside from the leaked spell information that could be false we don't know that much about the spells or new weapons or Armor.
Plus the game adds Dragon Riding and more but we wouldn't know about most of the details of that if not for leaks that we can't discuss.
I'm not asking for spoilers but what about those who want to know how this stacks up against Bloodmoon or how in depth the Dragon riding will be. There doesn't need to be major spoilers but some answers would be appreciated so everyone knows how much to be hyped up about this DLC.
The weird part is how it got less media attention than the other DLC.
The disappointment btw can hurt Bethesda's reputation and many gamers won't buy games from companies with bad reputations hurting day one sales and increasing piracy rates. Just saying that'ts money that could go into developing more content or a better sequel that they won't be seeing. No one likes cocky companies say its all on you and with the PS3 issue does Bethesda really need more bad press?
