Skyrim asks me to patch the game. I download the patch. It continues to show a black screen. No errors. The big Xbox button on the controller cannot get me back to the mini-screen it usually does, I have cleared the cache, deleted the game info and patch, downloaded the patch again, played the game unpatched (thus my 2 achievements). I took the game disc back and got a new one, same issue.

Halo 4 works, though.
