[Issuehelp] for custom model import help

Post » Wed Dec 05, 2012 6:55 pm

So I recently was given a link to a Tutorial. http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/topic/5541-3d-craftworks-from-blender-to-skyrim/ <----- This would be it. However, It seems the tutorial is not finished. It ends directly after using the ChunkMerge program to attack collision to the model.

I did successfully get my model in game however, it ended up looking like this: http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k481/kenders21/ScreenShot3.png

As you could see, the textures obviously didn't show up, they aren't even found and or registered. .. .And I am completely oblivious on what to do to fix this.

So perhaps someone here might or at least direct me to a tutorial that might help me fix the issue.

That tutorial is finished, by time you reach the end the model is game ready, which is the whole point of that tutorial. It's not mean for complete beginners though, that's why it's not holding your hand all the way through.

You'll need to edit the texture paths in the BSLightingShaderProperty and point them to your new textures, currently the game can't find them.

Thank you. I'm by no means not new to modding. I've made textures and models for years now. However, Skyrim is so different from what I am accustomed too.
