Method to the Solitude interior kitpiece madness?

So, this is just really getting on my nerves. I'm trying to make an interior using the Solitude kit pieces. It's a farmhouse, two stories, nothing too complex. However I can't for the life of me seem to get a handle on the naming convention or kitpiece setups for this. I've been at it for hours, and I can't get my interior to fit together nicely. I could just cover up all the problem spots, but that will be hard and the result will just be an absolute mess.

I did make one interior using these kits long ago, but it was all very simple stuff and I made it work, this one is a bit more complex and it's just fighting with me ever step of the way. The stairs are odd heights, they extend weird lengths, they dont fit with other parts, the columns clip constantly, the roofs don't snap nicely with the walls...

Does anyone have any advice or hints on how the Solitude kit pieces snap together?

EDIT: I guess I can just spend a while digging around the vanilla Solitude interiors. Man these are a mess, every small house cell breaks into like 45,000 pieces... I understand flexibility with your kitpieces, but by the Nine do you really need this much? :P

I feel your pain mate. I used the Solitude kit to make one of my player homes... never again. Ended up duplicating an existing farmhouse, and just changing it a bit. Those bloody beam pieces for the floor and walls make no sense. I couldn't get anything to snap together lol.

Man, I know! The Solitude kit is actually kind of funny, in my opinion- they are almost overly modular, whereas the architecture itself is all giant set pieces. A bit ironic.

Anyways, the best method is definitely to take a peek at the Solitude houses. I'm finishing up a 3 story home in Ethas that is built using the kit, and while it certainly takes quite a bit of work getting all of the right pieces, it is certainly worth it in the end.
