Version Control Merging - Major Issue

Post » Wed Dec 05, 2012 4:14 pm

Hello,

So one of the projects I was working on involved multiple team members having to merge files and all. This went smoothly for a long time, until now. What happened is that he edited terrain in new cells and placed a few items, and now I can no longer merge any of his stuff because the "CHECKING IN..." Freezes completely on certain random items, unable to merge at all. When I open the EditWarnings.txt it gives an infinite loop saying this:

FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.
FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.
FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.
FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.
FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.
FORMS: Form (50555247) exceeds maximum size.

What is going on? And what is form 50555247?

Over the last few months of merging constantly in the Version Control, it left a lot of redundant form modifications I think.

Ofc I don't know for sure, since it never tells you... but cleaning it in TES5 fixed things.
