Curious on whats the general impressions from people who have played 10-15 hours...or put alot of time into the dlc already.

How is it?

If you've played Morrowind, it's a blast from the past. If you didn't it's an excellent, meaty DLC. Well worth the money!

Epic. Just as good as normal skyrim and I was pleased with paying 50 bucks for that.

Played it all day and it surpasses shivering isles in my opinion, kinda short main quest but way way more side stuff. check the impressions topic on the first page of the forum as I and others explained it in detail. but in short it's well worth it.

It has the same price point as Dawnguard. From those who actually thought highly of Dawnguard, how does Dragonborn actually compare in size, quality and epic badassness to that DLC?

it makes dawngaurd look like it was made by preschoolers. and I actually enjoyed dawngaurd somewhat lol. it feels like an actual expansion.

Well, by very virtue of the fact that (frankly, I'm pretty amazed by this) there are NO bash-filled, hate-dedicated threads whining about "what we didn't get"... and I even caught one of those anti-anything-Skyrim folk saying something that COULD be construed as positive (actually, a glowing review considering the source)... and all of the gushing and glowing, yeah, I'd say DB is an all out "must have" hit.

Loved Dawnguard, actually, and while they both have their own merits and coolness... um, yeah, sorry, but DB beats DG out in every possible way you can imagine (unless you're only in it for the vampires).

I will say that its one of the best DLCs they have released - however, you should keep in mind that its primarily for fighter and mage types. There is little for those looking for special things for their thieves or archers. Regardless,it is a must have DLC for anyone who loves Skyrim.

you have to kinda love dawngaurd too since the only usable horse in the new dlc is arvak, even though I wont use him as I like to explore everything on foot first lol.

Well, there is a thread just below this that is full of rants about the dragon riding mechanic. Hah

But based on what some comrades have told me in this forum, this is a MUST HAVE DLC!

Yeah, but it's basically one poster who probably expected WAY too much of a tiny little feature and can't see the forest what with all of the trees in his way.

yeah and even though you can't fly them directly it's still fun, better than nothing at all. I like having it attack mass groups and seeing skyrim from the skys.

I really enjoyed it, love the detail and the fact that the enemies were harder. I had problems at first with the dragon riding, but the help menu tells you what to do, and after some practice it was okay. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 10

Indeed it is a fantastic dlc and gives us Dunmer lovers some really good stuff to sink our teeth into. Well it does that for everyone but bonemold armor on a Dunmer = <3

It's great.
I consider Dawnguard to be a 7/10 DLC, Dragonborn is easily a 10/10, in terms of DLC.
