IMO, life is too short to worry about it. It would be nice to have clearer controls and more autonomy, but with so many wonderful things to see and do in Dragonborn, I'm not fussed.

the dragon riding is indeed very disappointing. when i heard that there would finally be a dragon mount feature in skyrim i was thrilled! i was just imagining how awesome it would be to see the vast scenery in the game from the air, or how fun it would be to battle another dragon in mid air! screw fast traveling, i would just hop on my pet dragon and fly to wherever i needed to go, maybe picking off a few giants with fireballs along the way.

but no. we have this.

a feature that seems to be for novelty purposes only.

hopefully someone important sees this and fixes the feature so im not so sad anymore.

AYE!!!! This is why i wanted Dragonborn to control the dragon not just let my butt sit on it and it flys me. I need to fly it.

Definately - but not going to happen. So we just have to deal with it.

The engine was designed for consoles, not Dragons.

Still, all signs point to this DLC being a success regardless.
