I had nightinggale armor in a chest in my home and it been missing since i dowloaded the dragonborn dlc and the same happened to my friend anyone else experience loss of items

Nope, and I've a character who is actually using NIghtingale and Dragonscale that he picked up before going over to Solstheim.

One thing I did have happen, on my very first char I created, that hasn't been played in probably a year... remember those bookshelf bugs? Well, on initial load, those books all came back, but that's the only stored item thing of which I am aware.

Not a great loss.
