Feel Dissapointed

Recently heard that Elder Scrolls ONLINE was coming out and heard it was only for the PC which been playing Skyrim on the xbox and enjoying it still from the release date I just wished Skyrim had some online features like an online auction house so people can interract and get to meet friends that can help you on a quest and check your friends house on the hearthfire DLC,

My main question is will Elder Scrolls Online be only available for the PC

Yes it will. Welcome to the Forums

There was a Rumour that it will come out for Xbox and Ps3 though

But I doubt that will happen.

You'll probably find that, if it does come out on console later on, it will be the next gen consoles. So, buy a PC and cut the cost of upgrading by more than half every time you need to.
I would imagine the next gen consoles would be around 400 bucks or more when they come out. That would upgrade my PC considerably and still leave me over 200 bucks to spend on other things. In fact, I could buy a complete setup for just over 600 and that includes a monitor too.

If you think a console that's as old as the xbox or even as young as the PS3 can handle that sort of game, you sir, are tripping!

That could be tricky. I'm assuming ES:O is going to be subscription based?

Remember The Champions Online? Remember how it was developed for PC and Xbox, but never came out on Xbox?

The reason was that Microsoft do not allow developers to charge extra subscriptions for out of the box online functionality. You can charge for extra bells an whistles, but if your product relies on subscription fees to actually PLAY THE GAME then Microsoft will not allow it.

All basic online play, excluding specific DLC packs and maps, must be covered by the Xbox Live Gold subscription on all Xbox 360 games.

As old as the 360 may be now it's still got better hardware than the PS3. Which is why Skyrim has been such a ballache to get running on PS3.

nope.
dont know if you're right about the ps3-xbox part but
skyrim is better on xbox because its an xbox port to begin with, the game is made with features, graphics, colours, and shaders etc that the xbox can handle smoothly. Then some games like skyrim are ported to pc and ps3 which are not optimized in the same way that the xbox can handle it so lots of patches are released to "alter" it slightly so it works a little better for ps3.

games like uncharted just show how amazing "graphically" a ps3 can handle, i heard there's not much difference between an xbox and a ps3 apart from a different architectural structure and cores or whatever
