I've been coming here since early 2007...granted at that time I was mostly trying to figure out why my Raven Rock settlement was smaller than the official guide said it should be. But it seems people have become more...snippy...over the years. Is it me or have you all noticed this too?

ITS JUST YOU!!! JEEZ!! Seriously, seems pretty much same as it ever was to me. If you have issues you think are serious enough choose a moderator you're familiar with and PM them about it. It may be a few foul tempered individuals just need to be reminded to be courteous.

Its not that so much as people (in general) seem to get a lot more rude with each other - at least in the forums I spend a lot of time in (Skyrim [all], Lore). Just wondering if its a new phenomenon.

i've heard it was really bad when morrowind came out, daggerfall players bashed it just as hard as they do the skyrim games. Granted i got on here for fallout 3, so i can't say for sure

These forums have long been the safe harbor in the storm that is the internets. But after spending a couple of years here I have noticed a few things, like the longer one is here the more cynical one becomes. Take a breather from here, go out and get some sun, come back with a fresh perspective, its what I did.

More and more cranky people have started posting and somehow have avoided getting banned. Or perhaps when one is banned 2 more pop up.

The forums not only used to be nicer but we also discussed a wider range of topics, and even things that would be off limits these days.
