Spears...launched from a bow? A BOW? If it can be done as a bow it can be done as a throwable object as well. So why can could we not just have had throwable spears? I mean seriously, think back to prehistoric times. People hunting mammoths with spears....on BOWS? Oh my goodness...so much potential wasted. Could the spear in one's hands not have behaved like a melee weapon? And when thrown behave like a ranged weapon?

Goodness, I am most certainly not buying a DLC for squeaking midgets, mushrooms, and spears on BOWS.

Dragonborn is so much more than spears. Letting one thing ruin your enjoyment is more dissapointing, but hey that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I apologize if this came across as snarky or rude as it was not intended.

Obviously you need to look into the BIGGER picture. You're basically saying that since the spears are launched from bows that the ENTIRE DLC IS A WASTE.

Take spears as an easter egg and be happy with it. There could have been nothing.

Seems like if you start a thread about something that's in the dlc that could have made the game even better you will get shot down in flames for it even though you are only stating the truth on one small issue. I agree if something is going to be added to the overall content no matter how small then it should be done the right way or not at all.
