Any side effects when transferring a save file from Xbox 360

Post » Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:22 am

I've had Skyrim for Xbox 360 since release, and now that I'm upgrading my PC I plan to buy it again for this platform. I'd heard there was a way to transfer your save file, and after googling I see it's a pretty simple process involving a flash drive and a program called Modio.

My question is, simply: will there be any side effects or bugs introduced when I transfer a 360 save to a PC, or will it work just as well as a file started normally on the PC? The 360 save file is totally vanilla, no DLCs involved.

Other than a small nuclear blast capable of whiping out your entire neighborhood... there are absolutely no side-effects. :shocking:

On a serious note, I believe you may experience some minor glitches and bugs, but nothing beyond what is common among PC gamers who began their save files on the PC.
