I do, however, love watching the show. Why? Games are announced, every year, that I want to buy. Skyrim, for example, was announced on the 2010 show. Its great for announcements but the awards themselves are not given out by people who know what they are talking about. There are also guests that have nothing to do with video games. Its a bit mainstream for a game awards show.
This year it starts... today! At 6:00pm PT and 9:00 ET.
