Dark brotherhood, Thieves guild, Companions ect...

So has anyone seen any word on how these organizations will work? It is not an elder scrolls game to me unless I can join the dark brother hood and a thieves guild.

However, with the 3 factions in place I am curious as to how this could work. Will they be pact specific? Seems like the Nords and their allies would be the only real contenders to join the companions. Yet what of the organizations that span the whole continent? Can you be loyal to a pact and the brotherhood? Will you side with the people in your alliance or with fellow mages from the college?

Being a lore nut and a sneaky sneaky really devoted fan this stuff has me worried. I will be bummed if I can't join one of the secret organizations or if I'm pigeonholed into a race because only certain story lines make these available.

The Companions are 100's of years from being formed. The DB is only a couple of 100 yrs old, and then there is the Morag Tong, who has killed the last three Emperors. So, I'm sure they have something planned. I'd suspect they will be added in the first expansion, at the latest.

Then again...who knows at this point?

Companions have already been confirmed as being in the game. My main question is how these societies will work in a world split into three factions. It is not an elder scrolls game if you can't join a bunch of awesome secret organizations.

While the army force known as Companions are quite historical, well into the early 1st Era, the joinable guild of the Companions "The Circle" did not form until the end of the 2nd Era. They have confirmed the Fighters Guild as being in.

Still, the how's and what's are unclear. I'm sure that there will be all the fav guilds in each Faction Region.
