Since the 1.8 patch sounds such as effects and sometimes all audio in general will stop suddenly and randomly. Attemping to exit Skyrim causes it to hang forcing me to ctrl-alt-del to close the tesv.exe via the task manager. Anybody have an ideas for a solution?

My Specs:
-Intel i3 3.3ghz Sandy Bridge
-4gb DDR3 RAM
-Nvidia Geforce 550Ti
-Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium PCIe
-Windows XP SP3

On a side note I have the CCCP codec pack installed with default settings. Could this be an issue?
