Had Serana as a follower at the time I deleted Dawnguard but am still counted as having a follower despite her no longer existing. So I can't hire new followers, I've even tried waiting three days as well as reinstalling Dawnguard. Nothing. Before someone goes and suggests the console; i'm on Xbox. Anybody know of a solution to this?

Don't uninstall DLC packs when you've got a saved game in progress relying in it?

Seriously though, you'll probably have to go back to a save before you were using her as a follower to fix this.
