Dragon riding.....is it really riding

Ok first off. Some people are mad about the dragon riding.... To me the dlc is epic by itself. The dragon riding is ok. Could have been epic. But it's ok.

First off let's go over what EXACLY dragon riding is. In truth dragon riding is simply sitting on a dragon when it flys period!!!! Dragon mounts on the other hand are dragon you can sit on when it flys, and be able to direct the flying direction.

So over all you can say you are riding a horse even if you are not in control of it. But if its a mount. Then you should be in control of it.

People keep saying that "dragon mounts" could not be possible for this game. This I have to disagree with you. First off dragon mounts could not work technologically ONLY for a few reasons. But these reasons could be negated with a little editing. After all. nothing is impossible!!!!

1) the dragon would go too fast resulting in not being able to process all the AI, items, textures.
This problem could easily be avoided by lowering the speed of the dragon. This would not damage the speed a dragon could travel skyrim by much, and would lower the amount of information that the Xbox would have to process at a time. My proof of this is in this video:
http://m.youtube.com/?client=mv-google&rdm=04vk#/watch?v=qq95EE5pf-k&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dqq95EE5pf-k
In this video it shows that if the dragon is moving at a slow enuf speed. It can slow the process of information to a playable pace. My proof of the dragon moving at a slower speed of regular dragons is around 3:00 in the video. But hay even if the dragon moves slow. It would still be the fastest way to travel skyrim as you can fly over mountains

2) another problem would involve the ground. This is actually the main problem with computers. If a controllable dragon riding (dragon mounts) would be made. They creator would have to add a barrier to stop the dragon from just flying in to the ground, trees, and keeps. This can be a problem as skyrim is HUGE. It would take a very long time to make all those barriers Around the map. On top of that it still would not look cool if you hit the ground. But hay it can be done if you have the time to do it.
But hay this is only about hitting the ground. what about ground combat?
First off the areas a dragon can land are pathetic. They are glitchy and in other words not dragon compatible. It would take a lot more time to make those landing zones and the areas around them dragon friendly. Other wise you will be stuck in a rock that you thought the dragon could climb over.

As for problems of exploiting and landscape degrading. First off there are not much exploits with dragon mounts. And the ones that possibly could exist are not nearly as bad as the ogma infinium, and restoration exploits.
As for landscape degrading. In other words people are worried that dragon mounts would degrade the landscape due to the fact that you would be able to just fly over mountains that would have taken 30 minutes To travers on a horse.
First off dragon mounts are a must needed feature to stop the fast travel bull [censored]. Really I tried just using a horse and not the fast travel. It did not work. If there was something that I could use to travel the HUGE landscape in a reasonable time, and still retain the feeling of skyrim. It would be dragon mounts.

People are worrided that the dragon could just fly through skyrim in a matter of secounds. This is not true. It would take a dragon at least 10 minutes to fly the length of skyrim at full speed. But because we know that flying at full speed is not gonna work. Flying at a speed of 1-2 times the speed of a horse would likely retain the vast ness of skyrim. And if you think flying the speed of a horse is slow for a dragon think again. It would take a horse 30 minutes to go around the mountain. When it would only take the dragon 1 minute to fly over it.

What would need to be done in order to make dragon mounts possible?
A lot of work. I have come up with a kind of mechanic that could possibly work. But hay I will post it later. I can see I've given you too much to read for now
