Gold: You walk by the person, and bump into them taking their entire 'bag' of gold. Or you walk by with a very sharp knife and a little pouch. You slit the bottom of their coin purse and all the coins fall into your pouch. It depends on how good you are. Stealing 100,000 would be interesting, but no one carries that much.
Stealing someone's cloths is a bit much. Very large weapons too. Armor is just absurd. If someone took my heavy plate, which by the way has tons of straps/locks/etc., I think I would notice the 'weight' difference.
Gloves are also to tight, and shoes... well you will notice when your bare feet hit the cold ground. Hat.. possibly. Equipped weapons, depends on the weapon. I could see taking a sword out of its scabbard if you were really good but anything beyond that gets unrealistic.
What drives me crazy. I have a 90% chance of taking your warhammer on your back, but a 0% chance of taking your gold necklace. Price has to large an effect and weight to little. Price should matter, you will pay attention to something of value.... but it shouldn't be nearly impossible for a master thief to steal a necklace without potions and enchantments.
