Best housing option?

Post » Mon Dec 10, 2012 11:06 pm

I have Hearthfire but so far haven't really delved into it. I've got Hjerim and Breezehome and have had Proudspire in the past and will get it again for the Stone of Berenziah, but as far as furnishing goes, I haven't really decided which house to call 'home'.

Which do you find is the best? Which one is the least buggiest? Which one has the best storage and display options? What about Alchemy, Enchanting and Smithing?

I know a lot of this is on the various wikis, but I'm asking for opinions here, not information.

I think Proudspire Manor is the overall best (and it should be for the money), but I haven't bought Honeyside in Riften yet so can't comment on that. Proudspire is just bigger than the others and can accommodate everything you'd want (alchemy, enchanting table, children's room), though I forget if it has mannequins.
