My question is if there was a mod that allowed you to become High King or High Queen of skyrim would you want to do it? Suppose Elisif The Fair or Ulfric Stormcloak was assassinated at the moot and, through quests allows you to have leadership of skyrim. You would have to make difficult decisions for your kingdom, all while remaining an adventurer.

well my nord has conquered all of skyrim, saved the land on more then one occassion, settled the war, is thane of every hold and single handedly keeps the dragons from dominating the land...he's worthy of the crown, at least he should have his own hold

No. Being king or queen should be a full time job, not something you do in-between killing monsters. A ruler should be more accessible to the people they rule than an adventurer could be.

You would remain married to your own spouse (if there is one) the dominate candidate's family however would be removed from the game.
