Is there any way to remove these black books from the inventory? i've gotten them all, gotten all of the perks from them, and now they're just dead weight. I know it's stupid to gripe about 7 pounds, but seeing as i'm OCD and i like to keep my inventory clean of useless things, and i would like to keep them at my home in falkreath until i need to use them again. am i missing a final quest once i have all of them, or are they just there forever?

They're stuck there forever. I'm guessing that's for people who'll misplace them then start threads whining about it.

I think that you can't remove them, exactly like the Dragon Elder scroll from Dawnguard, but also like the elder scroll, the weight doesn't count. I may be wrong, but that's what I think.

Quest items have a weight listed, but not actually implemented. Basically it's just a number and nothing more.

I too would like to store them on my Bookshelf however. Being a collector of unique items I don't want them in my inventory, I want them in my home.

well, that kinda svcks, I think they would look good in my home, But nothing i can do, I guess.
