I've started a little project this morning and I'm now stuck without finding anything usefull on google.
Since my Khajiit Characters in the previous TES Titles were all looking more "Lion-like", I was trying to get that look for Skyrim. And after a some time of texture work...

Now, replacing the existing textures is, of course, no problem at all.
So I wanted to create a new race which is pretty much the absolute same as the existing Khajiit, just with a different skin. (This will give me another headache if I can fix that problem here because I want the NPCs to react exactly the same on the lion like on the orig. Khajiit)
I worked myself with "Do it yourself" to the point that the Race is dispalying in the game (created new IDs with changing the name and applying the proper texture sets to the Armoraddons and so on), but my problem is that the body doesn't show ingame.
In the Race Tab, I've given the new Khajiit_Lion Race the "Morph Race -&--#62; Khajiit Race" and the "Morph Armor-&--#62; Khajiit Race". Now, in the freshly re-created Armoritem "SkinNakedBeast_Lion", I tried to add the (previously created) Armoraddons "NakedTorsoKhajiit_Lion, NakedFeetKhajiit_Lion, NakedTailKhajiit_Lion and NakedHandKhajiit_Lion" to the "Model-Tab", but it's not excepting them (they are shown if I check "Show all", but it just doesn't use them ingame).
So I went back to the Race Tab and removed the "Morph Armor-&--#62; Khajiit Race". Now the Body was shown ingame, but any type of armor didn't display...
That's where I am stuck now.
I would really appreciate if somebody could help me out. Or maybe some of you know an actual better way to get my textures ingame without replacing the original Khajiit ones or creating a new race at all. On my search I've read that it's somehow possible to change the textures with the weight slider, but couldn't find anything related to that.
