Okay so I've been through this ruin a few times and I have always wondered who or what this Xrib was and why the Dwemer have a temple in honor of him/her/it? I'm a little bored today because I'm under the weather so I figured I'd ask since I'm going through the quest again. I've searched the internet and found nothing, just pages leading to the quest that takes me through the temple. So what's the deal who is he/she/it?

Sounds to me like something the writers just made up for that level. Can't find any lore about Xrib on UESP.
