Spellsword from existing Mage?

Post » Thu Dec 13, 2012 5:59 am

I have a little delima I would like to ask you guys about...

I have an existing level 24 destruction/conjuration Mage that I have put into a semi retirement. I got bored, and the destruction magic is not as effective as it was early on. My question to you is, would it be viable to turn him into a spellsword? And would it be beneficial to make the switch from robes to light armor?

I ask this as I play on ps3, and would like to play through Dragonborn with a Mage esque character, whether it be pure Mage or Spellsword.

Yeah I'd wait on that since your on PS3....

But it's up to you on what you do it's your game, You don't need anyone's opinions.

But, I don't like the idea of a Sword and Magic.

I have a warrior and thief/archer character that I also need to level up some more, so I figure I have time before 'early 2013' (whatever that means) and I want to experience Dragonborn from all three perspectives (plus a few other characters I might bring out if retirement).

Early to mid 20's is certainly not to late to branch out, especially at the default leveling rate.
